About Us

The South Petherton Support Team (SPCST) was founded to provide
a co-ordinated response to the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.

Our aims:
To provide all residents with the ability to access
help, support and information.

To support local businesses to be able to supply the community
through deliveries by online or telephone ordering systems.

Coordinator: Jenn Hodge

Jenn is the director of a not-for-profit which provides activities and discussion groups – with the aim to improve self-confidence, self-esteem and mental health.

She loves volunteering and is a Cub Scout leader, trustee of the local Home Education Centre and a Parish Councillor.

Coordinator: Phil Smith

Phil Smith lives in South Petherton but regularly visits London, providing strategy and change leadership to banks.

He dedicated many years to the Air Training Corps as Squadron Leader and was key in Leading the development and delivery of Adventure Training for Devon & Somerset Wing.

Coordinator: Adam Dance

Adam is passionate about helping people and gardening and runs his own business offering landscaping services.

Over the years he has held many positions within the community and is presently Chair of the South Petherton Parish Council, District and County Councillor.
